Dr. Valerie Pilon received her Doctorate from the Illinois College of Optometry. Upon completing her training, Dr. Pilon returned home to Southern California and spent several years cultivating a successful commercial practice. In 2006, Dr. Pilon was recruited to join OC Surgical to serve as its Assistant Director of Clinical Operations. In addition to performing comprehensive eye examinations, she routinely provides emergency care, pre and post-operative surgical care, glaucoma management and contact lens care. Dr. Pilon is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Illinois College of Optometry and a member of both the American and California Optometric Associations. She also serves as a consultant for several pharmaceutical and device companies who call upon her skills in the areas of ocular surface and glaucoma management. Dr. Pilon has served in an investigative role on more than a dozen FDA-monitored pharmaceutical and devices studies. She and her husband Andrew, also an Optometrist, reside in Orange County with their son and look forward to opportunities when they can enjoy the outdoors together…
